XR - Highly Interactive Instructional Content - 5G Edge & Next Generation Telecom
As project lead, I directed a team of four to design an immersive XR experience featuring 3D models of businesses, emerging tech, and network devices. Users explore the use of 5G equipment on the cloud edge, dragging elements to see network responses fostering deep engagement, driving perceptive insights, and creating lasting retention.
This trailblazing XR project had no digital precedent in our organization. Drawing from sandbox games, our team—including coders and designers—built interactions and a virtual city from scratch. Modeling equipment, and using dynamic animation to demonstrate signal pathways at the edge vs long-haul data, required bold, novel approaches.
I spearheaded this XR tool’s creation in six months, guiding a team of a game level designer, graphic artist, and coders. I conducted user testing, managed timelines, briefed stakeholders, and aided in design and coding, delivering two customer environments that won the organization’s top innovation award.
